Latest sermon:
The first witnesses to the empty tomb were women, faithful disciples of Jesus. But the first to bear witness (to testify) to the events of the first Easter were the Roman guards. Ironically, those assigned to ensure no shenanigans happened at the tomb were the ones who told the Jewish leaders the awkward truth of the resurrection. These leaders then sanitized the event by manufacturing a different story, which has been spread among the Jews to this day. But we must take seriously the evidence as it stands, and trust that Jesus Christ rose bodily from the dead, never to die again, passing through the gate of death and opening up for those who trust in him the joy of everlasting life.
