Every person is made in the image of God, which means we all have enormous dignity and value. Yet we are by nature sinners and sufferers. We each have legitimate needs (affection, attention, affirmation) that go unmet, which can lead us deep into frustration, hopelessness, addiction, and emotional and spiritual stagnation. Many have suffered abuse of some kind along the way. Many continue to suffer alone. Counselling can help.
Jesus entered into human suffering to sacrificially open a way into wholeness. Our conviction is that he continues to do so today. We believe that God's word, coupled with caring support, is sufficient to help bring about change even in the darkest situations. There are three main ways we connect those in need with people who can carefully and compassionately help.
Often the best place to start is a conversation with someone who knows how to listen, reflect back what is said, and can offer focused prayer and God's living word.

We love weddings! Obviously, the wedding is part of the larger and longer relationship of marriage. Pre-marriage counselling is performed using the Prepare/Enrich curriculum. Couples will be helped to understand the Christian and Biblical foundation of marriage, either through study with mentors or a pastor.
At times, we may enter a season of life that demands professional counselling. We can refer to several excellent Christian counsellors that can accommodate clients on a short or long term basis. Please speak to our Pastors, Sean or Guy, in person.
