When we see Jesus for who he really is we cannot help but to see ourselves for who we really are: sick people in need of a doctor. The church is a gathering of Jesus' followers who have recognized their condition, been cleansed and forgiven, and who have repented. What's more, they have entered new life, a feast where Jesus enjoys the company of forgiven and repentant sinners.
