The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is profoundly significant to humanity and the cosmos: it means he has accomplished what he set out to do (pay the penalty our rebellion justly deserves in the eyes of God), is alive today as Saviour and King, and promises eternal life to everyone who trusts in him, starting even now.
