The glory of God filled the tabernacle at the end of Exodus, and in the beginning of Leviticus He gives instruction on how to live with Him in the midst of his people. Crucial to His glory: Holiness and purity. Blood sacrifice was given as a way of dealing with impurity and sin, previewing the cleansing, atoning blood of Christ.
