If Jesus Christ is the superlative revelation of God, then there can be no further revelation. If Jesus Christ has made the final and perfect sacrifice for sin, then there is nothing we can do to add to or modify what he has done. He is the ultimate and central focus of the Christian faith, and in 2009 we must be jealous for his uniqueness and sufficiency even in the face of competing beliefs.
