Exodus 20:17 You Shall Not Covet (Sept 25 2011)

To covet is to entertain a desire to possess wat another person has. It is misdirected desire. Desire is good, if it is for the right thing, but sustained desire for what Gos has chosen not to give us is fertile ground for related moral disasters. The only way to deal with covetousness is death: with Christ, we die to the consequences of the law; it is written on our hearts, and by the Holy Spirit we are made zealous to keep it.
