Why does it matter how we speak to one another? Why should words carry weight? Because the Holy Spirit is grieved and the integrity of the congregation is undermined when we speak untruthful or corrupt words to one another. We are to give the Devil no strategic position in the church by cherishing and nursing anger. In these ways, the Holy Spirit engineers and fastens us together as the temple of the living God. All this happens as we are renewed in Christ, and our inevitable failures are provided for as we forgive one another as CGod in Christ forgave us.
