Latest sermon:
What are perhaps the two most important words in the Bible? "BUT GOD" in Ephesians 2 verse 4. The prospects of humanity outside Christ are bleak. Paul, writing to Christians, describes what they once were: dead in trespasses and sins; in captivity to the world, the flesh (self-centredness) and the devil; and under the wrath of God: offensive to him. BUT GOD saved us by grace. He raised us up with Christ, and seated us with him in the heavenly places. What formerly held us in bondage is now under our feet because of Christ. The only response is to give glory to the God of grace.
