The Holy Trinity is in the background and foreground of the Apostles' Creed. God is one, yet the Bible reveals God is at the same time three equal and distinct persons, who are one because of their perfect unity and alignment in being will and purpose. The first person of the Trinity is God the Father Almighty, who is both Personal, and Powerful, and who adopts us through his Son into the community of the Trinity.
