The first sermon preached, on the day of Pentecost, is not about the Holy Spirit or the gifts of the Spirit, but about the Lord Jesus Christ: the events surrounding his resurrection, that he is the fulfilment of prophecy, he reigns now as Lord and Christ, and is a challenge to each of us. What will we do with him? Part of our response must be know that his Lordship also implies his Love, for us personally, and through us to one another.
