Advent is not simply a countown to Christmas, but a time of preparation and a time of repentance as we look back to Immanuel, God with us, and forward to the return of the King. But we live in the present. How are we called to live as Christians in this world between Christ's two comings? Paul's answer, for people in anxiety, is to embrace gospel joy, gospel prayer, and gospel peace.
